Frequently Asked Question

To create an account: 

Click on the Anotato icon in your browser toolbar (top right)

This will open a dropdown with three (3) options:

• Sign in
• Register
• Turn OFF Extension

Select Register. This will bring up the register form:

Enter a username of your choice. The username is the name that will be displayed with your annotations. You do not need to remember it.

Enter your email address (make sure it is an address you have access to).

Choose a password of at least 6 characters (case-sensitive) that you can remember.

Then click on Register. 

If the username you choose is already in use, it will ask you to choose another. In that case, choose another and select Register.

If the registration goes through, you will see a confirmation screen. You will also receive an email with useful information about how to buy additional credits, in addition to the 100 free credits you get upon registering.

It is important that you remember the email address that you used to create your account - and preferable that you remember your password.

When you click on the Let's Go button, you will already be signed in and will see the signed in popup menu.
