Navigating to the Buy Credits page

To buy credits you need to go to the page https://anotato.com/buy at our website: https://anotato.com/ 

If you are already on the Anotato website, just click on the word "Buy Credits" in the top right to open the Buy Credits page.

If you are not on the website, there are a number of ways to get to the Buy Credits page.

You can left-click on the Anotato icon and from the dropdown left-click on the "Go to Website" link. This will take you to the website main page. And from there you can click on "Buy Credits".

Or you can right-click on the Anotato Icon, which brings up a drop-down menu.

From there you can either:

• left-click / right-click on "Anotato" which will take you directly to the main page of the Anotato website, or
• left-click / right-click on "Options".

This will open a new page with four options.

If you are in the middle of creating an annotation and you realize that you don't have any Create Credits, you can buy more credits by clicking on the link that opens the Buy Credits page in a new tab:

Similarly, if you are viewing an annotation, but realize that you don't have any Forward Credits, you can click on the link that takes you to the Buy Credits page in a new tab.

On the Buy Credits page, you will see various different packages of Create Credits and Forward Credits that you can buy. By default, they appear in GBP (£), but you can change this to EUR (€) or USD ($) by clicking on the down arrow and selecting the currency you want to use from the dropdown list.

But the payment buttons are all inactive until you enter the email address of your Anotato account. 

The reason for this is that when you buy credits, Anotato needs to know to which account to assign them, in order to make sure that you get the credits that you are paying for.

When you enter your email address, Anotato checks to make sure that it is not just a properly formed email address, but that it belongs to a valid Anotato account. If it is not, a warning appears in red. If it is an address of a valid Anotato account, a confirmation appears in green and the Buy Now buttons become active

Click on whichever package you want and this takes you to the payment page - which may be either PayPal or Stripe depending on which package and currency you chose. Enter your payment card details, and any required information and then click on the Pay button. 

Assuming there are no problems with your card or the details you have entered, you should see a green slider showing the payment going through. Within seconds, the payment will go through and you will get a success message. Your newly purchased credits will be added to the credits you already had and will be sitting there waiting for you in your account

You can check on your new credit balance by hovering the arrow over the Anotato Icon and looking at the tooltip that appears with these details (if you are signed in to your Anotato account). In some rare cases, it may take a minute or you may have to refresh the screen.
