Criticism of deceased public figures is permitted, but gratuitously insulting comments about deceased private persons are discouraged and may be removed at our sole discretion.

Annotations containing rude words that are on our Banned Words list will be blocked automatically. But variants of those words or other rude words not on the list might get through. If an annotation with rude words, in breach of our terms of service, is published and subsequently reported, it may be removed and the creator sanctioned by a reduction of Trust Score or suspension or even an outright ban.
