Frequently Asked Question

To sign in to your Anotato account:

Move the mouse pointer over the Anotato Icon on the bar at the top of the browser and left click. This will open a dropdown that gives you four (4) choices:

• Sign in
• Register
• Go to website
• Turn off extension

Left click on sign in. This will open up a popup window.

In the popup window, enter your email address associated with your Anotato account and your password. 

Then click on the Sign in button.

Provided you have entered your username and password correctly, this will sign you in and close the popup window.

If you have made a mistake entering your details or password (remember passwords are case-sensitive) it will show you an error message on the pink area below, saying: "Error: Firebase: Error (auth/invalid-credential)." It will allow you to try again. It will also offer you a link to create a new account.

If you have forgotten your password or the email address you used to register, open a Help ticket here. You do not have to have an account here (or remember the details if you do) in order to create a help request. The reply will go to the email address that you provide.
